The programmer behind Whirligig came to me with a request to make their media player easier to navigate.
After wireframing a few options, I came up with the following design which used simple iconography and bold colours to gently lead the user through the various options.
We were able to get useful feedback from the Whirligig community online which helped shape later versions of the media player.
